  • The fission timescales are determined directly from the analysis of the measured fission excitation function data for the 12C+197Au,12C+209Bi and 14N+207Pb reac- tions.Our results are compared with those of similar work.The effect of the nuclear viscosity on the fission timescales is also discussed.

Abstract:  The fission timescales are determined directly from the analysis of the measured fission excitation function data for the 12C+197Au,12C+209Bi and 14N+207Pb reac- tions.Our results are compared with those of similar work.The effect of the nuclear viscosity on the fission timescales is also discussed.
