Systematics of (n,3He) Reaction Cross Sections

  • The systematic characters of (n, ~3He) reaction cross sections have been studied formedium and heavy mass nucleus at 14MeV. A set of the empirital parameters have been eatracted onthe bases of analyzing and evaluating available data. The (n,~3He) reaction cross sections of somenuclei have been calculated, and a good agreement with the experimental data have been obtained.Most possible reaction mechanisms are also discussed.

Abstract: The systematic characters of (n, ~3He) reaction cross sections have been studied formedium and heavy mass nucleus at 14MeV.
