  • The importance of developing ion source used for on-line isotope separator forresearching nuclei far from stability line is explained. The merit, basic concept and studied currentstatus of laser ion source are discribed. The assumption and researching development of laser ionsource in Lanzhou on-line isotope separator are reported.

Abstract: The importance of developing ion source used for on-line isotope separator forresearching nuclei far from stability line is explained.
