  • The experiment in which 13 C trioctanoin was used as a labeled substrate to diagnose the disease about fat malabsorption was explained and followed by a research on the diagnosis of the same disease with 13 C substrate. Both of the experiments proved effective, moreover the latter would be better since the stable isotope is harmless.

Abstract: The experiment in which 13 C trioctanoin was used as a labeled substrate to diagnose the disease about fat malabsorption was explained and followed by a research on the diagnosis of the same disease with 13 C substrate. Both of the experiments proved effective, moreover the latter would be better since the stable isotope is harmless.
