Abstract: 26Al is an important long-lived radionuclide in many research fields. The different measurement method of 26Al by using Accelerator Mass pectrometry (AMS) are described, and the characters of these methods are also briefly discussed. The application of 26Al to geology, biomedicine, nuclear physics and nuclear astrophysics are also introduced in this paper
