Abstract: Using Glauber model, we present the impact parameter dependences of the numbers of participants and binary nucleon-nucleon collisions in nucleus-nucleus collisions. Then, on the basis of this work, after considering the effect of energy loss of participants in their multiple collisions,we get the pseudorapidity distributions of charged-particles as a function of impact parameter in nucleus-nucleus collisions through weighted superposition of the distributions in effective binary nucleon-nucleon collisions. The experimental measurements carried out by RHIC PHOBOS Collaboration in different central Cu+Cu collisions at different energies were analyzed by using this model. The theoretical results are well consistent with the experimental observations
